NS and AI
To make your journey easier and better, NS uses artificial intelligence (AI). You can notice this in features like the seat finder in the NS app, or in sensors on our trains that signal when maintenance is needed. This helps us ensure you travel comfortably and reliably.
ROBUST
NS is participating in the ROBUST programme, where 17 knowledge institutions, 19 industrial partners and 15 social organisations collaborate on the development and human-centred application of AI. As one of the industrial partners, NS will work alongside ProRail, TU Delft and Utrecht University on developing and applying AI to address logistical challenges.
Kickstart AI
AI is having an ever-growing impact worldwide, and the Netherlands cannot afford to fall behind. That is why NS, Ahold Delhaize, ING and KLM jointly promote knowledge, talent and innovation in AI through Kickstart AI. We do this by collaborating with universities, expanding AI knowledge through the national AI course, and organising challenges.
