A clean train not only makes your journey more pleasant but also creates a sense of safety. That is why we ensure thorough cleaning of our trains, inside and out, around the clock. We work closely with our partners and have inspectors verify that the cleaning meets our high standards.

Cleaning the train interior
Our trains are in constant use. That is why we work around the clock to ensure that passengers can enjoy a comfortable seat every day. We pay special attention to seats and tables, as a clean seat is our top priority.
Cleaning the exterior
We also keep the exterior of our trains clean. This is done at several train wash facilities across the Netherlands, either automatically or manually operated. You can find these at our service locations.
Graffiti: a specialised approach
Sometimes routine cleaning is not enough, for example in emergencies or to remove graffiti. We have a specialised approach for these situations, carried out by specially trained staff who meet strict standards.
Cleaning advice
With years of experience, we know exactly what works when cleaning trains. We are happy to share this knowledge with customers, whether when purchasing new trains or during refurbishments. We also advise on colours and materials that make cleaning easier.
