Herman Dijkhuizen (Chair)
Herman Dijkhuizen is Chair of the Supervisory Board at NS. He was appointed on 1 January 2020 and reappointed until 2028.
Herman has extensive experience in the financial sector. He previously served as CFO and Vice-Chair of the Executive Board at NIBC Holding N.V. and NIBC Bank N.V. In addition, he holds several other roles, including board member of the National Fund 4 and 5 May Foundation, member of the Supervisory Board of the World Wildlife Fund, and member of the Supervisory Board of Tata Steel Netherlands.
Ron Teerlink
Ron Teerlink has been a member of the Supervisory Board since 1 June 2023, with his appointment running until 2027.
He previously served on the Executive Board of ABN AMRO N.V. Ron also holds several other positions, including Chair of the Supervisory Board of Stichting VU and member of the Supervisory Board of JustEatTakeaway.com N.V.
Pamela Boumeester
Pamela Boumeester has been a member of the Supervisory Board since 1 September 2023, with her appointment running until 2027.
Pamela has previous experience as a professional commissioner. She also holds roles as Chair of the Supervisory Board at WPG Uitgevers, member of the Enterprise Chamber and member of the K.F. Hein Foundation.
Klaas Dijkhoff
Klaas Dijkhoff has been a member of the Supervisory Board of NS since 6 March 2024, with his appointment running until 2028.
Klaas is the founder of SUE & The Alchemists and previously active in politics as a Member of the House of Representatives, Secretary of State for Justice and Security, and Minister of Defence. He is also a member of the Supervisory Board of football club PSV.
Giny Boer
Giny Boer has been a member of the Supervisory Board since 1 October 2024, with her appointment running until 2028.
She has extensive experience in the retail sector, having previously served as CEO of C&A Europe and General Manager Retail Southern and Eastern Europe at IKEA.
Karen de Lathouder
Karen de Lathouder has been a member of the Supervisory Board since 10 March 2025, with her appointment running until 2029.
She previously served on the Executive Board of Eneco and was CEO of BP’s Dutch division. Karen has also worked at Orpic, Akzo Nobel and Shell.
Marnix van Ginneken
Marnix van Ginneken has been a member of the Supervisory Board since 13 March 2026, with his appointment running until 2030.
He is member of the Executive Board of Koninklijke Philips NV.
Marnix is also Chair of the Philips Foundation, member of the Monitoring Committee on Corporate Governance, and Professor of International Corporate Governance at Erasmus University Rotterdam.
