Selling your own train tickets

NS aims to support an open public transport market with room for new providers, giving travellers more choice and options. That is why we make it easy for other parties to sell train tickets under their own name. Our goal is to make train travel as simple as possible and encourage innovation in mobility.

Travellers increasingly combine different modes of transport—such as train, bus, tram, metro, (shared) car, taxi or OV-fiets. NS wants to remove barriers to integrating train travel into these complete mobility solutions.

Therefore, we encourage developers of mobility services to include train journeys in their offerings. Together, we make public transport more attractive.

The NS Resell package

To enable this, we offer the NS train journey as a component within other mobility services. This is called the NS Resell package.

With the NS Resell package, market parties can sell train tickets under their own name. This can be done in two ways:
